1. What Trost Listings is
Trost Listings is a classifieds platform that lets people in Uganda list items for sale and connect directly with buyers. We do not buy, sell, inspect, or take ownership of any item listed on the site, and we are not a party to any transaction between users.
2. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information in your listings and profile, and for keeping your password secure. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement under Ugandan law to create an account.
3. Posting listings
Listings must be for items you're legitimately entitled to sell. We may remove any listing that is fraudulent, misleading, prohibited by law, or reported and found to violate these terms. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
4. Buyer and seller safety
Always meet in a public place, inspect items before paying, and avoid sending money in advance to someone you haven't met. Trost Listings does not process payments and cannot reverse a transaction made directly between users.
5. Prohibited items and conduct
You may not list illegal goods, stolen property, counterfeit items, or anything that violates Ugandan law. Harassment, scams, and impersonation are not permitted and may be reported.
6. Limitation of liability
Trost Listings is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the platform safe, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of listings or the conduct of users, and are not liable for losses arising from transactions between users.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
